DEX-Production Manager Advance, NC

Responsible for managing DEX production activities for all locations from concept through industrialization
  • Responsible for developing new product lines based upon input from Customer Support and industry standards-to DEX operations including: establishing process flow for items to achieve max efficiency through research, flow design, quality control standards, time studies, equipment and space evaluation and best practices
  • Develops and reviews system processes and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, budgetary constraints, personnel requirements, and change management
  • Forecasting requirements and timelines for production activities developed through cross functional team cooperation
  • Provides direct management to the Production support team
  • Ensures production methods and products follow established HSE standards
  • Reducing quality cost with the help of analysis of non-conformance products on periodic basis and also by following suitable actions (both corrective and preventive)
  • Development of employee training guidelines bringing into use the standards of the performance derived from work measurement studies.
  • Assesses project resource requirements and overseeing through to industrialization
  • Control documentation of the ISO quality system, updates, corrections, improvements while maintaining the integrity of documents and record control
  • Coordinates reviews with procurement to address supplier quality issues
  • Represents, plans and leads the internal/external audits
  • Advises/supports leadership of quality and production within the organizations
  • Provides training and supports continual process improvement process
  • Controls the calibration process for tools and equipment as required
  • Quality liaison between production, senior management and individual departments

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of supervisory/managerial experience is preferred
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in heavy duty trucks, manufacturing/production, automotive, aftermarket parts, salvage, or component refurbishing preferred
